Chris O’Neill Racing Fund

Hello my name is Christopher O'Neill. 

I am 18 years old and currently struggling for a solution to my problems and i hope you can help me end those problems. Currently i am looking for a way into motorsport. I have entered a UK wide competition called want2race and i am hoping that i can get through and win. I am also looking for work to be able to partually fund the start of my career.  But this being such a expensive sport i know i will struggle paying for essentials. This is why im here talking to you guys. No matter how big or small your contribution counts.

I have set a goal and i already know the funding that i need for each item as well as the training coach.

Now before i mention what the funds are needed for you must be thinking what previous experience have you had in racing that would merit your backing. Well I started go-karting when i was the age of 8. I joined because i watched my brother race for a season. It was an indoor karting at Scotkart Clydebank. I loved it. Out of everything i have ever done in life i just know racing is where i am meant to be. I only managed to race for 1 season but in that season out of 13 rounds i managed to finish on the podium on 11 occasions. Taking 4 wins in the process. i Finished 2nd in the championship by 1 point. 

From there i had no where to go. My family always said we had no funding and to give up on my dream. But over the past 2 years as iv grown up iv thought its not impossible and i am going to get there. I am fully commited to making Racing my career and i am asking you to all help me out. I am Naturally talented and i have never had the break that i deserve, But now its your chance to give me that break. I promise i will not let you down.

The total of this comes to = £2,127.57 so the remaining £1,372.43 will go towards training sessions as well as kart sessions to fine tune my skills. For 10 training sessions it will cost £150 so id plan on working 3 times a week so about 900-1000 pounds would go towards the fitness aspect and the remainder towards the karting. 

I understand that this is a lot to ask for but in the long run you could help me get to a place so incredible that the couple of poundsyou decide to put in will be more than worth it in the end.
