Foster Children’s Scholarship

In many parts of the country, foster children "age out" of the system upon their 18th birthday. Most of these children never had a chance in life. They were bounced around from one home to another, never forming any permanent bonds, due to no fault of their own. I was one of the lucky ones, adopted at an early age, but so many weren't so lucky.

As a teacher, it is my goal to give foster children an opportunity to pursue a college degree by granting several $1,000 scholarships to foster children across the country. Let's show them that there can be a second chance to life.
