Forever Family

Please, let me introduce myself. My name is Rick Beach, I am 40 years old with a 20 year career working with people with developmental disabilities. In my spare time I volunteer as a mentor/tutor and have done so since 1989 when my plan in high school was to become a special education teacher. Over the years I have worked with well over 50 youth and a majority of them have done well from being gainfully employed to serving in the armed services.

When I started looking into adoption I spoke to many people in the process, but most were adopting from outside of the United States. They told me many horror stories of what the children have suffered, but our children here suffer some of the very same horrors. I knew I wanted to focus here at home and provide our children of the United States a forever family that needed it.

This project is dedicated to providing a home for children with special circumstances whether they are physical, emotional, or something else (for instance older children and/or siblings). This home is even more vital when you consider these children are the innocent victims of painfull loss, neglect, and abuse.

I as well as most I know believe that every child deserves a safe, loving, permanent family and home of his or her own. These factors is essential to the well being and mental health of all human beings. There is simply no substitute for the unconditional support, experience, lessons, and love that a family can provide.

These are children right here in the United States and all they dream of is a home and family to call their own. To have one to call their own would mean the world to them, how much does it mean to you?

This project is soley for the construction of the house, as the property is already secured. If there is excess funding monies, then it will go into the bedroom furnishings. All receipts will be posted on my Facebook account @ Rick Beach. I will also be posting updates as they happen with pictures and videos. There will also be inspirational videos that will drive me every day to make this a reality.

I have added different denominations as suggested by a close friend. All donations are appreciated for this goal of providing teens and sibling groups a forever home. If the goal is not met I will refund all doantions of $25.00 or more. Donations of $24.00 or less will be donated to www.adoptUSkids.org to continue to promote adoptive homes for the kids who are in need of families minus the fees charged by this site and paypal.

If 10,000 people can donate $25.00, it will provide the funding for a 4 bedroom home, as depicted similar to that shown above.
