Forever Family for Mez

Mez spent most of his life in orphanages in Ethiopia. At age 16 he "aged out" meaning he couldn't be adopted. When I met him he had just aged out. There was no hope of a home and family. But God...God brought Mez into my life, he sent me to Addis Ababa to his orphanage on a church mission trip. I met Mez and spent 8 days with him getting to know him and listening to God tell me this is my son. I went home and Otis & I started praying to know God's will. Soon we were researching visas. There are so many! After months of being told it's impossible, we found someone who pointed us in the right direction. I tried the J 1 visa, too expensive and couldn't find a sponsor company who worked out of Ethiopia. Finally I found a school who would accept him with an F 1 visa! I applied, got an I 20 and started the paperwork! After many hard fought battles, much prayer and believing, God prevailed and brought Mez to KS! Now that he's here, we're working on adoption. He has nothing to go back to.
Please help us adopt Mez and give him the home and family he deserves and longs for.
