Update:

Daddy Benjie started having stomach pains last month. He thought it was just something usual and simple however it became consistent for about a month. It was then followed by a throbbing and constant pain in a certain part of his stomach. His youngest daughter Kelly took him for a check up the following month and after the results came in, the doctor then advised that it was a colonic mass with 99.9% probability for it to be cancerous.

The surgery was performed last September 25, 2020. As per the Surgeon and Attending Physician's impression after surgery, they said that even without the biopsy, it was no doubt a 100% Colon Cancer. He is currently admitted in Chonghua Hospital as of writing.

Their running hospital bill as of yesterday was around 200k plus with medical. expenses everyday of 5k to 8k.

The doctor told them that Daddy Benjie has to undergo Chemotherapy. The cost ranges from 30 to 50k depending on the severity or the cancer stage which will be determined by Friday.

Daddy Benjie's youngest daughter is the only one employed in the family. The hospital bills, the demand of healthy lifestyle, the Chemotherapy, their house rent and bills here in Cebu since they do not have a house of their own here, they are from Carmen, the transportation costs, the post operation medicines. All these are too much for one employed family member to cover.

Daddy Benjie has brought us joy and laughter through his unparallelled humor, he cooked and served us generously with sumptuous delicacies. Furthermore his family has been nothing but a blessing and joy to us all. Right now we humbly knock at every hearts for your support.
