For the love of Rusty!

Last week taking Rusty to Wasilla Vet we found out he more then likely has one if not two blown knees! He needs to be knocked out and a full physical exsam as well as x-rays will give us further info on how good/bad he is doing. They told us it's 4-500$ Just for that. During exsamination she said his confrimation is serverly off in both hind legs they are bowed and both knees are thick and swollen.  Unfortunatly he is also in so much pain the vet did not want to test him unless under and she gave us some pain meds till we can come up with the cost to atleast get x-rays to know where and what we are dealing with. She said the cost for sergery is about 2K a knee.  Rusty is A Lab/mastiff mix and will be 2 years old on Fed 22nd and he is the sweetest most loving pup we have ever had! I normally would not ask for help but seeing him struggle in pain yet still mannage to get around as well as he can is breaking my heart and the pain meds just don't seem like they are doing much for him. I massage his legs and apply heat witch he loves and will lay for hours and let you do! I will post a video or two of how he is getting around and how he balances on his front legs ( he now has massivly built shoulders) this guy is an awesome old soul from the day we got him, his little tail going a million miles a minut and that face....oh that face! On a bad day he will come curl up with me and place his head on my lap as if to say it's ok, I'm here. Where ever we are in the house he is by our sides. If he thinks there is even one bit of danger he is up alert and on gard! lol even if it's a bear on TV lol yes Rusty really sits and watches TV lol.  I can't say enough of what a good boy this guy is and how much he deserves the best quaulity of life we can give him, right now we are both hard working alaskan folk and don't make much, but we are saving what we can to get him taken care of if you can find it in your heart to give even 1 dollar thats one dollar closer to getting him taken care of and if you could please share this...that would be so awesome and possibly help him more.
