For The Love Of Animals

Cheryl Lyn's Rescue Organisation was founded in 2015 as a Non Profit Organisation after many years of selfless, hard and often dangerous work by the founder Cheryl-Lyn Potgieter. CRO works in and around the Tableview / Milnerton community with the sole purpose of combating animal neglect and assisting animals who have found themselves in circumstances most of find too traumatic to accept or deal with.

Over the past seven years Cheryl-Lyn has worked tirelessly to rescue animals from horrific conditions day and night, seven days a week, taking very little consideration for her own safety but rather the plea of animals who have been left on the outskirts of society and human compassion. She takes it upon her own shoulders to help rehabilitate and rehome these animals using her own dwindling funds and resources.

Cheryl-Lyn uses her own home and vehicle to transport and foster the hundreds of animals she has rescued until she can place them in loving homes. In doing so she brings neglected and abused animals back to health, both mentally and physically until they are ready to be loved as part of a family again.

Currently Cheryl-Lyn uses her own small car to go into often dangerous areas at all hours of the day and night and is in desperate need of a vehicle that wont let her down while on a rescue mission and allow the safe transport often multiple animals ,who are already in a very delicate state, to safety.

This is where YOU come in.

We are looking for all our friends, family & acquaintances to band together as a community to help us get Cheryl-Lyn a Van that will assist her to help more animals while being safe and secure.

We need to raise R250 000 by 29 November 2019.

This may seem a momentous task but a community is strong in numbers and together ,by small acts of kindness, we can make a difference and achieve momentous tasks. If we can even get 1000 people to each donate as little as R235 we can achieve this goal and help someone who asks nothing in return while helping those without a voice in our own community.
