For the life of little Isaac Mak

Little Isaac Mak Siu-yeung is our beloved 12 year-old son, our only child. Me and my wife have in him all we have in life, a very happy adventurous, curious and great rock climbing talented boy. But life has brought us very unfortunately our worst nightmare around 3 years ago when Isaac got diagnosed with T-lymphoblastic leukemia (T-ALL). More unfortunately still is that after all attempts for treating him at the Hong Kong children hospital, what included electrochemical therapy and other intense treatments and medicines over these past couple of years, the cancer returned very strongly and doctors from the hospital advised now on July 29th 2022 that they have exhausted all possibilities to treat him and there is nothing available in Hong Kong that could cure him, being just a matter of time for us.

However, these doctors also said that the only possibility probably available would be to try a new way of treating this kind of aggressively come-back cancer being experimentally available under trials in Singapore and in Shanghai. Even though these are under clinical trial, we believe we should try all we can to try to save him. Doctors contacted such centres and they confirmed this could be a possibility.

The cost for this would be completely out of any possibility for us, between HKD 1.5M to HKD 3M.

We are a simple humble local HK family, my wife gave up her work to spend every single minute with my son at the hospital, while myself work during the day and spend time with Isaak during the night and on Sundays.

We need please any financial support you can give so we can try this last possibility to keep my little Isaak alive. He is everything me and my wife have, and your generosity will no doubt make a difference in our lives.
