Campaign Story
The COVID19 global outbreak is a human tragedy. Several days into the Enhanced Community Quarantine in our locality (Zamboanga City), we have already witnessed the deepening uncertainties in the eyes of our workforce.
It is true now more than ever that our workforce are our greatest assets. In the past few days, we've witnessed frontlines from the different industries soldiering on amid the community quarantine because in this trying time, we need them the most.
What we do not normally notice and are oftentimes obscured from social media postings are the ancillary workers who form an integral part in the fight against COVID19. They are putting their lives at risk battling this invisible threat with our frontlines.
As a way of saying thank you to these brave men and women of the ancillary sector in Zamboanga City, my friend, Muneer Arquion Hinay, and I would like to buy them and their families, extra food and supplies.
We are planning to buy produce from our LOCAL FARMERS to give to as many ancillary staff/workers in Zamboanga City, who worked tirelessly during the ECQ, namely: security personnel in hospitals and other establishments, janitorial and maintenance personnel, waste collectors, and delivery personnel.
If you're able to, we'd love it if you could make a donation to help us achieve our goal.Donors
