Dear Everyone,

By browsing this page, we found that most of the couples do the fundrasing to cover their honeymoon, rather than the wedding itself.

Well, in our case the situation is different.

The proposal took place in last March and since that we have been planning our big day, but unfortunately we couldn't make enough savings. The date is already set (29 May in 2021), but the real costs of a wedding go beyond our imagination. The ceremony and the following party cost a fortune even in a relatively cheaper country. The expenses could only be covered by loan, which is allegedly not the best way to start a succesful and happy marriage. Especially if you want to leave your current one-room apartement that doesn't belong to you and buy a new one in the future. Unhappily, we can't expect financial support from our parents, so on our own we have been able to put aside the 10-15% of the total costs so far.

Therefore we thought that the opportunity offered by GoGetFundings shouldn't be missed, but of course we will keep saving the money from month to month, and try to hit the lottery.

However, until that, we believe in the goodwill of people and would really appreciate every little donation!

Thank you in advance!

All the best,
Julia & Andris
