Campaign Story
Hi everyone! I'm Jessa and I'm knocking your kind heart to help us and asking all the help we can get from you. My mom, Teresita Yucaran Roquero was first diagnosed and got hospitalized in 2017 and 2018 with Polycystic Kidney with Pneumonia her condition has worsened to Chronic Kidney Disease Stage 2 to Polycystic Kidney Disease after she fell into a bed and had injured herself badly.
My mom, who is 59 years old, also suffers from secondary anemia due to her condition. Through the combined help of family, friends, workmates, classmate, schoolmates, complete strangers who had generously helped in their own special ways, my mom was able to get discharged from the hospital and was able to pay the PF of the 6 hospital doctors who handled her case.
Fast forward to present day situation, my mom go to dialysis center twice a week. Philhealth hands out 90 sessions or covers 2,800 of the charges per session every year. The 90 sessions provided by philhealth will run out eventually. My entire family is trying hard to make ends meet to cover the expenses on top of her medicines, dialysis sessions, other fees and food. The dialysis should be done lifetime or my mom gets a transplant.
To get a permanent cure is to get a transplant. To get that started, there are several process that needs to be done starting with getting a work up which would cost roughly around 300,000. We are faced with this decision to make of choosing either a lifetime of treatment or start the process for a transplant. Either ways, both the options are expensive. Again we ask your kind hearts for help. A single session of missed dialysis could mean my mom's life in exchange. Please help see us through, lend us a hand to win this battle. My mom cannot win this battle alone. Let us all join hands, pray, reach out to one another and lend a helping hand. She have gone a long way since we started this scary battle against this illness. Please don’t let her go through this challenge alone and scared. A big part of the success has come from all you people helping her out selflessly.
On behalf of my family, we are forever thankful for all your support. Let us beat this illness together.. We can make it pass the 2.5M required for the transplant! Please help!

I am a singlemom and the only one working in the family and to be honest despite of my job and salary, it is not enough to support them. So I badly need any help you can give. Any amount will be a big help for my Mom's fast recovery and so we can have her asap.
Thank you so much for all your help and God bless you!
