I have been selected by Global Entrepreneurship Summer School management to participate in Summer School in Mexico between 23rd and 31st August 2018. There are only 35 candidates from all over the world whose applications were rewarded.

The program is meant for young people to instill entrepreneurial spirit in them. My goal is to bring the knowledge back to South Africa and share it with fellow students at our Central University of Technology. I observe that many youths in South Africa would like to take the initiative in their hands, but lack the relevant tools to proceed.
By participating in the school, I will learn how to successfully run an enterprise and make contacts that can possibly lead to future collaborations between South Africa and other countries. I of the opinion that initiatives like this can help alleviate the poverty in the country. I'd much rather accept a rod, not the fish.

I have secured the funds for accommodation local transportation and meals for my stay in Mexico.
I still need funds for the return flight from Bloemfontein to Mexico ($1870) and the participation fee ($134).
