Campaign Story
February 3, 2012 Anna Mae and I were sleeping when I smelled smoke. I woke up to see the bedroom filled with smoke and yelled FIRE!! Just as I yelled, and we were scrambling to get dressed and our dogs, the firefighter was pounding on the door to get us out.
The fire was so extreme it turned into a three alarm fire and took about about 3 hours to put out. The building has been declared uninhabitable, and all our belongings are not salvageable either. So now we have no home, and no belongings.
We are reaching out to our friends and family for help. Whatever money you can spare to help us get back on our feet so we can get new dishes, bed, even a new place would be very much appreciated. Thank you in advance for whatever help you can do!
