Financial Assistance for Medical and Memory Care

My name is Kevin Heaney. I am an artist and I am a retired educator. My wife Donna whom I have been married to for ten wonderful year was diagnosed with Alzheimer' four years ago. She has three wonderful daughters who live far away. Also , Donna has four brothers and numerous relatives in Minnesota. I have a son and daughter who also live far away. In November 2018 I put Donna in Memory Care Nursing Home in Helena, Montana which is a two hour drive from Gallatin Gateway. There was no openings near us. I visit her about once every two weeks. I was her caregiver for the past four years until I was unable to take care of her. During those four years I was unable to do much of my artwork. I had to give up a member ship in an Artist's Cooperative Gallery and give up teaching adult art classes which took away some income. Since I put Donna in Memory Care I am slowly getting back to doing my artwork.

In the meantime I have accumulated Medical, Memory Care, and Personal Expenses. Donna is on Medicaid which helps pay for most of her Memory Care. We still need to pay $545.00 a month for the Memory Care. Have a mortgage payment of $950.00 a month. I have travel expenses to Helena. In the meantime I am applying for work and producing artwork. I also, have some health issues, I have diabetes which I do have under control. I am looking for help with Financial Assistance in the amount of $1500.00 a month. I really appreciate the help from family and friends. I would appreciate it if you can pass the information to others. I am very thankful for your help.
