Final Semester Emergency Fund

My name is Donnie Gainey and I am a senior at Oberlin College, where I am studying dance and theater. In addition to working two jobs to cover my living expenses, I'm also an active volunteer in the community, working extensively with children in the fields of education and dance.

Until this semester, I've been able to fund my education through a combination of grants, loans, and family contributions. However, due to an unexpected family emergency, I am suddenly unable to pay for my final semester of college on my own. In order to complete my goal of getting my degree from Oberlin, I need $6,000 to pay down my remaining balance so I can attend college this semester and graduate. These four years have presented me with many challenges on my path through college but I have always been able to overcome them. Please help me overcome this one once and for all.
