Fiji 2015

       On July 1st, 2015 I will be heading to Fiji. I will be spending 6 weeks volunteering with an organization called Marine Reach Fiji. It is run and coordinated by Bjarte and Ane Haugstvedt, who have been working in Fiji since 2002. The orginization works alongside "Youth with a Mission" and has three main areas. These areas include: A health Discipleship Training School (DTS), which works to train people to become devoted followers of Jesus by spending 12 weeks in lectures and 8 in outreach. Medical outreaches to different villages in Fiji, that have little access to health care along with evangalism. This year the orginization will be sending one team to Samoa and another team to some other spot in Fiji. At the end of the outreach both teams will go to a Fijan island to run a medical and dental clinic. Since I will not be in Fiji for an entire 20 weeks, I will spend my 6 weeks joining one of the teams and assisting in any way I can. I ask for prayer as the trip draws near.
