FLESH EATING BACTERIA nearly took my life! Please read my story.
Early January of this year, I contracted a flesh eating bacteria! I have no idea where I got it from. In emergency surgery, I had 12 inches wide and 12 inches deep of my stomach removed, as well as the bottom of my breast. About 80 lbs of flesh, tissue, and muscle were removed over the course of four back to back surgeries with three months in the hospital, ICU, and a nursing home. Consequently, I developed kidney failure, an underactive thyroid and diabetes.
As a result, I lost my job; so I'm at home taking 15 medications and disabled without health care insurance. I am weak and on a walker. I never imagined having a near death experience. With this deadly disease, 70-80% of people die and only 20% live, and I made the cut! I am on the road to recovery, but it is a very long journey. I would like to get my story out to the masses, such as to other surviving victims, support groups and organizations that help those who have life altering and near death experiences. In addition, any monetary assistance would greatly help me to purchase ongoing needed medications. Please donate if you can and keep me in your prayers.
