Fight against financial illiteracy/ Say no to financial illiteracy

Claricent Consulting Services in running a Financial Literacy campaign in South Africa targeted at owners of SMEs, SMMEs and Cooperatives. Research has shown that most of these enterprises fail because the owners/members do not have the basic financial skills like budgeting, managing personal finances and reading financial statements. Claricent intends to roll out a practical programme that will equip the owners/members of these institutions with basic financial literacy. If accomplished, that will go a long way in ensuring that these enterprises are run as competitive businesses and the multiplier effect would be improved standards of living, reduction in inequality, improved employment creation and reduced mortality rates of the SMEs, SMMEs and Cooperatives.
