Hi my name is Tracyanne Holly i have had fibromyalgia since i was 10 years old i am now 20 and it has been very difficult for me and my family coping with the problems associated with fibromyalgia, alot of you may be thinking " she look fine!" but thats not the case at 14 i had to leave high school because i couldnt cope with all of the crowds and work i couldnt even get around with out using my trusty walking sticks and wheel chair not to mention the anxiety and depression, i use to be a very active girl always running around and enjoying life as a child but when i became ill all that stopped, i couldnt go out with my friends or family i could hardly walk and i was in bed most days wondering why i cant be like other people my age. This picture is of me when i had a pain level of 6/10 so a good day for me but most day my pain levels are between 8 and 10.

now i know some of you may be wondering "what is fibromyalgia?" well according to the NHS official website Fibromyalgia, also called fibromyalgia syndrome (FMS), is a long-term condition that causes pain all over the body. As well as widespread pain, people with fibromyalgia may also have: increased sensitivity to pain. fatigue (extreme tiredness) muscle stiffness. but that's not all, people with fibromyalgia can have a range of other symptoms sometimes reaching up to 200 for more details on these symptoms please see this link https://sites.google.com/site/lynnisaacsondesign/h... now i have many of these symptoms and have to go and see pain management teams frequently as well as psychologists and other professionals who help me to understand and cope with this illness, But its difficult and thats why i need your help, i am what some people would call a recluse but not by choice, due to the sever pain and anxiety i dont have many friends or go out very much so my life line i supose you could say is technology, not just because it helps me keep in contact with people but it also helps me communicate when i cant think or speak. now the problem i am facing is my phone is broken and it cant be fixed and i cannot afford to get another one due to not being able to work my family are struggling financially due to their health problems too for example my mum has two slipped disks in her back as well as DVT, nerve damage in her legs and rheumatoid arthritis, so we cannot afford another one.

Now i know some people will be like well why does she need a phone? the answer to that is some days i cannot talk or even get out of bed and need the phone in order to communicate with my family about what i need e.g. a drink or going to the toilet and other people in my life.

i know i am asking a lot but it would be greatly appreciated if you would be able to help me. any donations are appreciated.

Thank you for taking the time to read through this page and i hope i can open your mind to the struggles people with fibromyalgia face on a day to day basis.

Tracyanne x
