Fencing for our Wildlife Sanctuary

Yesterday we woke up to a nightmare as we found our beloved SpringB killed by two dogs. These dogs were still in the chicken coop when we got there and managed to kill a chicken and four rabbits too before fleeing.

Our hearts are broken as nobody wants to see one of their babies die such a horrible death. We are angry because she was taken in the prime of her life and we are worried because we still have many other animals, including Wallace and Wilbur that these dogs can kill.

We hardly slept last night keeping watch over our animals. It is a horrible feeling thinking who will die next. We cannot allow nor want at all for our animals that we provide a safe space for to be in such danger. We do not have the funds to raise the fences and in our devastated state feel absolutely helpless. Tears cannot change the situation. It cannot bring our SpringB back and it cannot protect our other animals.

However in memory of SpringB we want to create a movie of her 8 year life here with us in Wonderland. Being Tobi the wire hair foxterrier's best friend and loved by many. Please consider donating toward the fencing and we will send you a copy of this movie as soon as it is completed.

To our neighbors that helped us look for the dogs, we thank you and we appreciate your support and effort. It is very comforting to know we are not alone. We are here for you too.
