The Coronavirus has brought a very dire impact on South Africa's economy as the government has adhered to the World Health Organisation's recommendations to instate a nationwide lock-down, this lock-down has left many working class families with no income at all because of the restrictions that limit movement.
With already existing food security problems which have led to 2 million children (estimated) going to bed hungry every night in South Africa the worst is yet to come and it is left to us (donors) to mitigate the impact that the virus will further have on the country's socio-economy.
Any amount donated on this fundraiser will be appreciated and will be used with the utmost of discipline to mitigate the impact of the virus in informal settlements and rural areas in The City of Bloemfontein, Free State, South Africa.
