Faulkland Village Play Park Fundraiser

Hi my name is Jade Deverill, myself and my neighbour Kate Dando are on a fundraising mission to improve the play park in our picturesque village of Faulkland in Somerset.

There are many children under the age of 10 who live within the village, however the facilities available to them is somewhat lacking. Currently our play park consists of one midi climbing frame which is inappropriate for toddlers and a swing set, again unsuitable for smaller babies and children.

We would like to change this by fundraising for some new equipment. The equipment we would be looking to buy would enable the smaller people of the village access to play as well as creating a variety of play for a range of ages.

We would be looking to purchase an adventure trail, to help get the children moving and keeping them active. We would like to purchase a baby swing to replace one of the existing seats, as well as a few themed pieces in-keeping with the village, such as a tractor which can be used for role play and climbing.

We want to encourage the children of the village out of their houses and up into the park to play, we have a beautiful big space we can use. We just need some suitable additional equipment to keep them engaged
