Three years ago, a young boy, Fesi, approached me on a social network asking if I would donate to the children from the orphanage where he takes care of them. We kind of chatted, then he called me via video call together with the children and that day we bonded :) At first I helped him financially, but one person just can't support so many children :) So I started helping him find funds from people, who are not indifferent to the fate of abandoned children. I opened a Czech paypal account because it is not available in Africa. A lot has happened in those 3 years and a few times there were stories that literally broke my heart. You probably know what I mean. When a child gets sick and there is no way to help him because he has no money, it is completely hopeless. Since Uganda does not have a health care system like ours, nor a social system to guarantee that children will be taken care of, the fates of some children are incredibly sad. I don't want to discuss it here and now because it's not pleasant. Recently, Fesi wrote to me this: "You know, I don't want to be dependent on donations anymore, I want to start taking care of myself. I want to start a business so that we can be independent, but no one will give me a loan. How do I start a business if I don't have capital? I'm tired of always bothering you or others and asking for money. I want to earn them myself…”

The money will be used to open a clothing/shoe store. Fesi calculated that half a year's rent needs to be paid in advance, i.e. 6×3OOeuro, 500euro for design (window displays, etc.) plus 2500euro for buying clothes/shoes. That's 4800 euros (5200$)
