US$560.00raised of $500.00 goal goal
Campaign Story
On January 7. the Peshkov's family home was destroyed by a house fire. Fortunately, there were no injuries but most of their personal belongings were destroyed. It was heartbreaking to see the children go to school the next day without their backpacks, textbooks, or winter gear. Here's the link to the news article:

The people in the community have generously arranged clothing and personal items donations, but since the family of five is currently staying with friends, they don't have much room to store things. This fundraiser is meant to help Alex and Svetlana Peshkov and their children to get a head start on rebuilding their home and their lives. We posted a modest goal of $500 for the next two months, but this project can be funded above that goal and I hope to raise more than that. I believe the outporing of support and heartwarming letters will be appreciated by Svetlana and Alex just as much as your Paypal donations, and this venue will allow the Peshkov family to see that there are many people willing to help. Please circulate this info.

I hope you guys get the support you need. I lost my home by fire too years ago and wasn't able to recover much but local churches and the community plus the red cross stepped in and helped put the pieces back together. Good thing no one was hurt. Sending you well wishes and good luck on your fundraiser. :)

Gogetfunding and Paypal will charge a percentage of the total amount at the end but I intend to cover that so that all donated funds go directly to the family.
