Campaign Story
We desparately need a car. At our place, public transportation is horrible, especially if you have often appointments with doctors and therapist as everyone in our family has. My wife suffers from depression and need regular psychotherapist visits. Myself, i suffer from a listhesis which is quite painful and heavily limits my work abilities. Also our son attends a psychomotoric therapy every week and soon getting a speech therapy aswell.
The schedulte of the public transportation available in our village has huge gaps, making it difficult to find suitable times for all these appointments. Most of the time we spend most of the time waiting on bus stops and train stations. Even a short visit at a doctor easily costs 4-5 hours of travel time of which most is just waiting time.
Because of our disabilities we're unfortunately not able to work and rely of invalidity pension which pays enough to survive. We did the math and we could afford the monthly costs of owning a car like taxes, fuel, insurances and some layback for services. But it isn't enough to actually buy a car.
So this is where we need your help. Help us get a used car which will make our life a lot easier, appointments better manageable.

Update posted by Michel Henkel at 09:53 amI know, this isn't a "it is urgent, we're starving to death" fundraiser and it surely sounds like a typical first-world problem. But the struggle is real. The problems are real. Even the simple shopping for our everyday needs is a real pain. We can't take part on any social. . . . .

The next bus leaves at 11:43, no other possibilities between these two.Similar problem in the evening. If you miss the bus leaving at 19:50 we'll have to wait until. . . . .
