Falsely accused

a family member was arrested and accused of a crime that he did not commit. At the moment he has a court appointed attorney who he feels is not listening to him, he had requested, to get another attorney and the judge laughed and said that everybody wants a new attorney so his words were on deaf ears. He feel as though he is in a no-win situation.first They wanttd him to do a plea deal and not go to trial but the plea deal consist of 15 years to life 25 years to life or if he go to trial it's life with stipulations. Now the DA don't want a plea deal after he offered it. He want life period !! We have found an attorney in San Diego California who is willing to take on this case but we do not have enough funds to pay for the attorney .they want payment in full because of the seriousness of the case. The cost is 100 thousand dollars. This includes all investigation and test.I don't want him to feel as though he's being let down ,we have been taking care of him as far as paying for his phone calls and for him to get food and we haven't let him down yet this is the only recourse we have to help him.We do not have that much time because they're schedule a trial date for November 6th and we would like to have the new attorney in place to fight for him and come up with another plea deal or something that would not be giving him life in prison for a crime he did not commit we want to get him an attorney that he feel will fight for him and not one that work with the DA and the prosecution. He feels defeated ,embarrassed and ashamed because of this situation. I try to keep him encourage and then this Attorney knocks him down again. He has faith and that has never left him. But we are dealing with Man ,and man don't care.Your help will greatly be appreciated. Money is the key too be treated fairly. These high bails and high Attorney fees are unbelievable. No wonder our prisons are full of innocent people who can't fight their case, because of the high dollar amount. We must vote and eliminate this.
