Face Of Lupus Walkathon

I was diagnosed with SLE in 2012 and quickly realised that very little is known about this illness.

Very little awareness campaigns are happening in South Africa with regards to Lupus in general.

I'm starting a Go Fund Me page in order to raise funds for a Lupus Awareness Walkathon, which will be the first of its kind South Africa.
My goal for walkathon is to not only raise awareness to the disease, but to assist fellow Lupies with medical costs and to start making a small investments as we do qualify for Life Insurance, due to the nature of the disease.

My plan is to have the first EVER Face of Lupus Walkathon in September of 2019, therefore I require funding to get the ball rolling in getting the marketing material, t-shirts, venue fees, medical assistants, prizes and goodie hampers for the walk.
