Every Girl Should Have a Wedding Dress

Hi, Unfortunately my wedding planning experience has not been the best.   My parents promised to pay for our wedding, including my dress and now they have pulled out of funding! My fiance and I are having to cancel our English wedding (losing £1500 on deposits we've paid) as we can't fund it all ourselves and we were sick of the fighting! We've decided to elope abroad.   I've been engaged for 3 years and during this time I have been searching for the perfect dress. I have literally just found it and now my parents have got cold feet about paying! :(   My fiance says I don't need the dress, I could just find a nice high street one to wear but I only plan on doing this once and to never have a wedding dress? It's too depressing, I've been dreaming of it since I was a little girl.   I'd be heart-broken if I never get the experience to be a 'princess' for a day. Please, please, please help me!  xxx
