EuroFinance

EuroFinance is not the typical educational tour schools often offer. It's more than an academic experience or a trip. This project is aimed at creating tomorrow's leaders, it's the climax of one of the best school programs offered in Sherbrooke. Fifteen to twenty students are taking on a year long journey where they'll have to plan, organise and fund a tour in western Europe where they'll attend conference from experts in their study fields. It's an ongoing project that one of our teacher leads brilliantly. But now, government cuts in schools budgets are threatening this project. So we're now going all in to finance by ourselves this phenomenal project that has given the opportunity to dozens of students each year to consider international careers. Students are looking for sponsorship from the business community all around the city and the province. This funding will allow them to experience what it's like to work at the UN, OECD, banks and other institutions. The money raised will help paying for transportation and accomodation. The plane tickets are the biggest expence, but we're now in discussion wih a charity that gives grant for educational traveling who would try to help us paying this. Every dollar and every cent from the online community is welcomed. Internet is the new platform which helps people to realise their dreams. We're not the first and we'll not be the last ones to do so, but if we could leave a mark, if we could create a precedent, then others could learn from it and maybe try to reach out for their dreams like we're trying to do.
