Ethically harvested beeswax products – an alternative choice to enhance the well-being in its broadest sence

Beeswax has attracted my attention for a quite a while as this substance is known to have distinct properties that can be used as a remedy for various health disorders, cherish inner and outer beauty or protect from negative environmental effects such as pollution, cold/hot weather.

Owing to its properties and qualities, beeswax is a desirable substance among natural cosmetic/candle makers and various other industries.

However, to my mind, this marvelous natural substance isn’t widely enough used in our ultimate consumer goods due to its limited supply in a form of final good and insufficient information dissemination. For example, there is virtually no chance to buy other than paraffin-based candles (which contain toxic chemicals and contribute to indoor air pollution) in most of the stores or shops unless you are a keen online shopper. On the other hand wouldn’t consumers demand for alternative choices if they realised the true value of pleasantly fragrant, beautifully wrapped but toxic candles?

Therefore my goal is to develop product assortment designed for special occasions and individual use, carefully considering packaging design and brand identity associated with ethically harvested main ingredient, i.e. beeswax from Baltic States and Bashkortostan (Russia). On top of that I want to encourage other retailers to provide a chance for their consumers to choose healthier and more sustainable products made from alternative ingredients.

In order to implement my goals I ask you for financial support to follow the steps below:

* develop brand identity for associated products;

* develop a website dedicated to spread awareness of our products and its origin;

* purchase necessary ingredients from local beekeepers in areas mentioned above;

* create a packaging design and purchase necessary materials for it;

* make products;

* launch them.
