Esme’s Evolution from Devastating Depression

What an intense rollercoaster of emotions! Emotions that no-one can begin to understand until you have spiraled to that very dark place yourself.

If you know Esme, you will know what I mean when I say I can hear that infectious giggle and remember the happy bubbly person that she was. This is all currently masked by overwhelming depression.

The Psychiatrist is scrambling to find the right cocktail for her to truly be on the mend, and this will take time, along with the inner healing she has to focus on. She is in the perfect place for this healing to begin, with an amazing team behind her. She is already advocating that too many people suffer in silence and that she has realised how quickly (and scarily) the mind takes over with involuntary suicidal thoughts and actions because we are too scared to speak up.

Unfortunately the situation she has now found herself in, means she will need some financial support to cover the bills, and get back on her feet without the stress and worry of where the next paycheck will come from.

I know Esme finds it hard to ask for help, as she is a very proud person. Thus, with her permission, I am reaching out on her behalf to anyone who is able to spare a R5, R10, R100 to ease this burden.
