Escaped the Cartel Violence

I am from South Texas and have known this Mexican family in Mexico for over ten years.  I have been like an uncle to these three kids since they were born.  I have always helped them out in Mexcio as they grew up very poor (outdoor plumbing and no running water).    A couple of years ago I discovered that their Mother worked for the Golf Cartel.  Their Dad had done his best to legitimately support his family (washing tourists cars and shining shoes in the street).  However, the wife was another story. 

I was devastated when one day I went to visit only to find the mother passed out on drugs and the kids running naked in the streets.

Their father was away trying to earn an income by hand washing cars in the street.  I told him about what I had found and he was very upset and went to find out what was happening.

After confronting his wife about the incident, he ended up in the Hospital the next day after being beat up by members of the Cartel his wife was working for.  And this is just one incident.  There are many more that you will learn about in the Children's story for those friends who help out.

The kids and their Dad recently escaped the violence of the Cartel in Mexico and the problems of his wife and landed in the US with the kids.  I have recently lost my job and any means to help them out to get on their feet. I am in need of funds for housing, utilities, clothes, school supplies, food and reliable transportation.  I have always been there for the family and now I am unable to help. And the family is not eligible for Public Assistance (and they do not want it).
