English teaching in Sri Lanka

As part of our degree, we have the opportunity to do a teaching placement abroad. We are going to Sri Lanka to teach English to children who have little access to education. The objective of the PMGY Foundation is the prevention or relief of poverty for people living in the communities they support. This is achieved by volunteers providing or assisting the provision of education. We are raising money by listening to every child read in a school as it relates to the project that we will be involved in.
