Electric vehicle charging is currently a complicated, fairly new space that requires diverse capabilities. If everyone is digging for gold, someone has to be selling the shovels. We want to be the entity selling shovels. While other market players focus on just one or two verticals and outsource the others, we at EnCharge plan to offer a complete suite of services to deliver a seamless, efficient and unique experience for our drivers.

EnCharge- a private startup is currently in planning phase of developing a first of its kind, electric vehicle (ev) charging center. Encased on a campus of nearly half an acre in Houston’s Energy Corridor, complete with an 1,800 square foot kiosk café dedicated to drivers and green space.

THE LOCATION

#1 Energy Corridor

Eldridge Parkway pivoting the intersection of Memorial Drive in the heart of Houston's Energy Corridor, along Buffalo Bayou. Just off the path of Interstate 10. In proximity of world headquarters of notable oil and gas companies. Property was originally structured as a former mini bank center with drive through only service.

#2 Pasadena, TX

Just outside of Houston in suburban Downtown Pasadena, Texas. Across from one of the area's middle school. Within walking distance to City Hall, Municipal Court Building, Pasadena Water Department, shopping mall, restaurants, and more. Pasadena is known for the many oil & gas refineries.

THE CHARGERS

Eleven drive thru stalls exclusively for Texas built Hypernova chargers, from Wallbox (Arlington, Texas) will be used as primary chargers. Eleven drive up hyper charging ports on location. Hypernova is high power charging solution at the top of available public chargers. Delivering up to 400 kW of hyper charging power. It is ideal for locations aimed at long distance traveling (including interstate highways), and is capable of adding up to 100 miles of range in 5 minutes. With available power up to 400 kW, each dispenser is capable of charging two EVs simultaneously, offering cost-efficient installation per kW and charging center.

Hypernova’s integrated cable management system ensures easy handling and stores the cables inside the dispenser unit, maximizing durability and helping to protect and keep the installation clean. It also offers several authentication and payment options, including RFID (cellphone NFC), screen QR Code and credit card reader with worldwide acceptance.

Hypernova is designed specifically to be deployed in EV corridors as those defined by the NEVI program. It aims to solve the current deficit in public charging along key U.S. corridors and simplify long distance traveling for EV drivers.

A quad of Tesla Superchargers added to Tesla’s global network of 35,000+ superchargers available to connect for drive up charging. With Tesla’s 250kW Max rate, Superchargers can add up to 200 miles of range in just 15 minutes.

A setup of L-Charge’s catastrophe free, grid-independent, ultra-fast charging solutions or mini power plants as they’re referred to are installed in the rear of campus. Operating using clean fuels such as hydrogen H2 or liquid natural gas LNG, with upgradeable power up capable up to 2000kW. These units are designed and planned to be used upon any power outages occurring. Unlike conventional chargers, these fixed charging units will not require grid connections. Rather, they produce electricity via an internal generating system. The charging units are autonomous and require little operational intervention.

THE CAFE

An autonomous, contactless, and innovative food kiosk café. Built on a scalable platform that leverages robotics to create food options, drinks, and easily accessible items available on-demand and customized to meet the lifestyle and preferences of awaiting drivers. Custom designed, 1,800 square foot cafe for drivers charging their vehicle. With a panoramic 40 foot wide observation window that guests can utilize for monitoring their vehicle charging from the comfort of the kiosk cafe. Inside the self-operated cafe, experience kiosk baking freshly made pizza in 3 minutes, zesty Japanese ramen bowls, even steamed caramel macchiato whipped from a robo-arm barista. Connect your laptop or tablet to complimentary superfast wifi internet and zip through the internet or watch your favorite streaming service on your device while you await your vehicle to complete its charging cycle.

VIP

EnCharge+ a monthly subscription program that provides anytime/24-hour access to both ev chargers and kiosk lounge including bonus access to private VIP lounge. Lounge has overstuffed plush seating, complimentary beverages, private restroom, and microwave. Additionally subscribers receive center discounts, complimentary Encharge t-shirt, promotional text alerts, and more

Promotion

“Who’s EnCharge?”, t-shirts promoting charging center and benefits of monthly subscription package.

The title “driver” will be used for customers. The term driver entails a sense of control and responsibility, and EnCharge wants customers to feel just that… in charge/control.

Government Incentives
