Empower Churches and Women through Training

Emit is a registered 501(c)3 non-profit organization, committed to holistic leadership development in Africa. Our primary vision is to develop transformational leaders who influence their families, communities and nations. I am a volunteer with the organisation.

Our involvement in leadership training and development in Namibia is extensive. One of our projects is to empower women with knowledge in various subjects that affect their everyday life. We train women leaders in politics, business and the church. Subjects include trauma counselling, entrepreneurship, marriage, understanding the Bible, amongst others. A 3-year course is offered, with 3 day training twice a year.

We train pastoral leaders from city centers, towns and the vast rural areas. A 4-year course comprising 37 subjects is presented. Subjects cover many aspects of ministry from Prayer, Youth, Church Administration and Animism, to name just a few. Testimonies received from pastors, reveal they entered EMIT training, totally unequipped for the ministry. During the training and thereafter, these same pastors grew confidence and knowledge to lead a successful congregation.

Your generous contribution will enable the EMIT team in Namibia to continue providing training to dedicated leaders, so as to bring renewed hope to their communities, the nation of Namibia and the continent of Africa.

Also needed is a Toyota Fortuner (diesel engine) with twin cab, for ministry purposes.

Your contribution will have a major impact on the lives of more than 120 leaders from all walks of life in Namibia. Contributions are needed to ensure their training program continues during 2019.
