Emoya was founded to rescue abandoned and mistreated wild animals. This was our way of spreading acts of kindness across our suffering planet. Emoya selects Aimee Jooste to contribute to restoring care and kindness to our suffering planet.

I am launching this crowdfunding appeal to you, my friends and supporters of Emoya, for Aimee Leigh Jooste, 21. An adventurous, empathic, kind and honest soul, working to develop a conscious and healthy world.

Aimee and her family have been regular volunteers and supporters of Emoya. If not for their support since 2016, Emoya would not have survived. Emoya owes them a debt of gratitude. I have started this crowdfunding group to contribute to the family by providing money towards Aimee's future work for our planet and teaching humans to be more conscious.

She came into the world when her mom, then 41 had endured 10 years of declining health. Aimee's mom fell into a coma when Aimee was 12 and died 20 months later. Living with an ill mom made Aimee resilient. She left school in December 2016 and in January 2017 she was in San Paulo, on her own, with 10kg of her stuff in a back pack. She travelled for the next 2 years across all of South America, England, Turkey, India and worked in a kibbutz in Israel. In between the travels she volunteered at Emoya.

Aimee needs funds urgently for her studies at the University of Maastricht where she has been accepted for a BA Arts, Media and Culture. This degree will enable her to contribute forward to others in need and with potential to make three world a better place.

Aimee needs a total of 18,800 Euro for her first study year (2019/2020). Her father Derek has raised 8,000 Euro to pay for the studies but Aimee still needs 10,800 Euro to pay towards accommodation, utilities and food for her 1st year (calculated by the Dutch authorities).

The funds will be paid directly to Maastricht University, The Netherlands, via the Emoya PayPal account and we will keep you updated every 14 days.

To assist Aimee raise the funds in time, Emoya would defer volunteer fees deposits (20% of 1,750 Euro for two weeks) for 2020 or 2021

Any donation more than 1,000 Euro will be rewarded with 1 week at Emoya (excluding flights and insurance) during 2020 or 2021.

Derek will continue consulting work for Emoya and the deferred deposits and donations more than 250 Euro will serve as a payment for his monthly consulting fee.
