Please help! I'm currently the only child, unmarried, and financially responsible for my unemployed 65 year old single mother. We are currently renting an apartment but our lease is ending in Feb 2021 as I've run out of funds to continue paying rent. I have poured everything I have into a very old apartment that I bought but my loans fell through for renovation. This apartment has cracked floors, no proper wiring or heating and no kitchen at all (no stove, no gas even). It was the only place we could afford. I have no furniture at all (everything in our current rented flat belongs to our landlord) and no money to even get our apartment liveable.
I'm so worried that this new place will be left in its dilapidated state when we move in. My mother is elderly and isn't in the best of health.
Please help me raise enough money to do some basic renovations and buy basic furniture to just allow us to move in. I'm really embarrassed to be asking but I'm so lost about what to do. Thank you so much if you're inclined to help. It's so appreciated.
