Emergency help for el Porvenir families

Hola,

I am Vaida and maybe you know me, or maybe you don't, I think this campaign will be mainly shared with the people I met in Peru while working in NGO named "SKIP". It was an amazing time, full of so many different experiences and growth that I can't even say how much grateful I am for this experience.

Now I am here again. Peru. Times changed. "Skip" is closed. But the families me and other staff worked with are still here, facing all those challenges that Corona virus and quarantine give us. Many of us are experiencing this "romantic" quarantine, but so many people are spending this time really bad bad. They can't go outside to work, many of them were selling food in the street or cooking in their house, doing other daily jobs that gave them their daily bread. But now they can't do it.

Some of those el Porvenir families created their NGO called "Madres artesanales unidas" and they asked for help as they are facing very difficult challenges.

I know times are not good for any of us. I work as a Spanish-Lithuanian translator and have less work now as well. But I think we, the ones that have better opportunities in life and have some income, we could share some of that with those families.

The goal is to buy food in Hermelinda and let the families pick it up. The access between the zones of the city is restricted, but the mothers can get the police permit to come closer to Hermelinda and get food supplies.
