Dear Supporters, For the first time in 7 years we may not make it through the next month. We are slated to have $0 when we start the month of May. We require $5000 to keep our projects running every month. We don't receive large public grants and when we receive donations we don't hold onto them. We disburse them immediately to cover teacher salaries, construction, food and healthcare at our project sites. We keep our goals realistic and within reach but sometimes we just can't make it there. For the first time in 7 years we also have 3 global communities, functioning and growing only because of us. This also means we have more than 40 teachers and several healthcare workers depending on us for a salary to support their families. We have a community of more than 20,000 dependent on us for healthcare and more than 600 students whom we've promised the right to learn. There are so many people in need and it is getting ever more challenging to raise the donations needed because we know you wonderful people are giving to so many places. Here is an idea of what you provide: $10- daily breakfast and lunch for a dozen students at the Konadu Basic School in Ghana $20- education for a student for one month at our Dreams for Kachra Kundi site in Karachi, Pakistan $85- 1 large sack of SierraMix nutritional supplement that feeds hundreds of infants at our maternity center $100- Mosquito repellent creams to distribute to more than 100 villagers in Blama Perri Sierra Leone (for malaria prevention) Every dollar helps so much. 100% of your donation goes directly to our project sites.
