Emergency Fuel Fund

The Emergency Fuel Fund was started in 2010 by a group of 4 Rio Ladies. The purpose was to be able to help families in a emergency situation keep heat in their homes. There has been a dance held each year to raise funds to keep the help available. We have had a 1950's -60's Sock Hop, a Halloween Dance and this past year we had and old time county dance with 2 special guest performers. Unfortunetly this year has been difficult with the extreme cold temperatures and increasing propane prices. Our funds have been depleted and we are unable to help our neighbors in need. This is where you come in. Every dollar donated goes directly to the fund to  keep this fund reaching out to help in emergencies. All donations are strickly confidential and is greatly appreciated. We are currently planning a Spaghetti Dinner in March to raise more funds.  We will update as the date gets closer.
