elsa’s angels

This sweet girl is Elsa. Elsa is a young mother with four kittens who was recently surrendered to Animal Services.  This is probably the first kind thing her "owners" did for her.  Elsa came to the shelter weighing only four pounds and with urine stains all over her beautiful white fur.  She is literally skin and bones.  It is believed she was being used for breeding and was being kept in a very small cage as she has almost no muscle tone on her.

Elsa shakes when she sees food and has a tendancy to eat till she throws up, she is clearly not used to having a full tummy or being fed regularly.  She has a very bad eye infection as well as a number of other health issues she is being treated for.

For the first time in her young life Elsa is being shown love and she radiates with gratitude.  Her eyes just seem to say thank you.

Due to her low body weight Elsa is having a hard time getting better and the costs involved in treating her are very high.  We all believe that Elsa deserves a better life than the one she had and everyone is working tirelessly to get her better so she can become part of someones family and be treated with love and kindness every day.
