Electric Wheelchair

My name is Johan van Niekerk

In 2001 i was diagnosed with Behcets Syndrome and because of the rarity of Behcets in South Africa is was misdiagnosed a few times and the result each time was a stroke
After 17 years and four strokes i live with my aged mother that helps me a lot, but she cant push me around in a wheelchair because of her age (75)
I have an electric wheelchair the problem is it is on its last legs. After being repaired many times it is more in for fixing than i can use it. With it being fixed i cant help around the house as i always do

With my current financial situation (Social grant, about $135 per month) to save up for a new is not possible.
Being able to afford a new electric wheelchair will greatly improve my life quality and my mothers because i can help her more around the house, and not always look at her for help and i can go when and were i want without asking for somebody to help me to get there.
