Elaine Petrie is a loving mother, wife, and friend. She worked as a paralegal for years, conquered Polio as a child and is an accomplished watercolor artist. Elaine also has Alzheimer’s, which is stealing her memory and her ability to paint. Elaine recently lost her husband, Al, after celebrating 50 years of marriage, to complications with Diabetes. Unfortunately, nothing was set up after Al passed away to deal with the continuing need for Elaine’s medical care. Her daughter, Deborah and son, Garrett are now scrambling to raise money to be able to ensure that Elaine gets the care and support she needs as she battles with her debilitating disease. We have liquidated the family estate and we are still short the funds needed to provide the round-the-clock care our mother will need into the future. We are now offering many of Elaine’s beautiful watercolors as incentive for people to donate to her cause. Most of these paintings are of the missions and churches located in her beloved Arizona and New Mexico. Please help us raise the money we need to take of our mother the way she has taken care of us all our lives.
