Edwina Tak Yiu Wong Yue Memorial Fund

Edwina Tak Yiu Wong Yue, 63, of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, passed away Sunday, July 27, 2014. Born in Shanghai, China, she was the daughter of Jones Koon-Kwan Wong and the late Ellen Kuo-Ying Chao Wong. Edwina is survived by her loving husband Raymond Lock Yue, son Jason Kai Hua Yue Noda, daughter Nicole Pui Gin Yue and daughter-in-law Yoshimi Noda. She is also survived by her brothers Tak-Siang Wong, Tak-Tsun Wong and Frederic Tak-Hwa Wong as well as her sisters Catherine Tak-Kee Wong Tan, Dora Tak-Wai Wong Donovan brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, numerous nephews and nieces, grandnephews and grandniece.

A memorial service will be held Monday, August 4, 2014 10:00 a.m. at William Slater II Funeral Service, 1650 Greentree Road, Pittsburgh, PA 15220. Viewings will be held on Saturday and Sunday 2:00 - 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 - 8:00 p.m.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may take the form of contributions to Edwina’s final expenses, c/o Raymond Yue, 249 Roycroft Avenue, Pittsburgh, PA 15234, or as a simple donation via this fundraising page http://bit.ly/1nJF90T. Due to the nature of Edwina’s medical condition the fundraising goal includes money needed for her treatment as well as the care provided by her loving brother Frederic Tak-Hwa Wong.

The care and medical leadership he provided made all the difference in my mother’s health and longevity since her initial diagnosis over 20 years ago of breast cancer. Uncle Fred and my dad provided care to my mother in her last days which was nothing short of a blessing from God.
