Edward’s Continued Fight to Live

My name is Taiwana, a single mother of 3 young men, and I’m fundraising on behalf of my middle child Edward Brager Jr. . He is in dire need of professional legal counsel in this fight for his life. During his freshman summer, age 16, lives changed forever. Edward witnessed the tragic murder of a young lady to whom he has no connection. The result of a deadly love triangle centered around those 10 years his senior, to which he had no prior knowledge. The two adults accused of the crime were entrusted with the safety and care of multiple minors including my son. Through all of the fear, terrors, and despair my son survived and has fought hard to build the courage and mental capability to tell their unimaginable story to the world. In the face of adversity he's graduated high school, become a productive member of society, a providing husband, a loving father to a 1 year old son and is expecting a miracle baby this year. My kind, gentle, God fearing baby boy is now 22 years old facing an unforseen capital murder charge for a heinous crime that he did not commit. His wife and I are stepping out on faith and asking family, friends, and the world to help us in this fight for his life and justice for all effected by the life defining decisions made on behalf of everyone. Prayers and words of encouragement are much needed and greatly appreciated.
