I'm a Computer Science Bachelor doing my summer internship where I'm seeing tons of people and I'm helping them get some educational materials for the fall. I have been in the United States for 7 weeks, mostly in Oregon and I absolutely love it here!
Personally having seen more than 1600 families (gasp! that's A LOT) during my stay here I have noticed that altough moms and dads want to get their kids the best education possible, they can't afford to get the learning systems because of their financial situation or they just don't care. I have seen kids who want to get better academically struggle with schoolwork and it breaks my heart when I can't help them out. Being in my internship I can help them get Southwestern Educational materials which also helps to pay for my College back where I live!
The goal is to collect enough funds to get 1 Southwestern Advantage Full Set Learning Systems which cover 30 subjects from grade school into high school! For each $750 worth of funds I collect I can get 1 Full Set and I want to give at least 10 sets to families right here in Oregon. I'm asking your help to make the difference!
When we reach our goal I will be sure to post pictures of happy families who get the Educational Systems!
