Educate Family Caregivers

A caregiver is a family member or friend who, while unpaid, provides emotional, physical, spiritual or fiinancial assistance to an individual who is unable to take care of all or part facts of their life. Family caregivers are the backbone of oue healthcare system bute the often feel invisible as they do not receive the support they need. I am a family caregiver myself and like many other caregivers I have felt depressed, isolated, guilty, and exhausted but i had the opportunity to educate myself on my journey and turn my life around. So, I decided to start a caregiver-led group, Family Caregivers Voice, to educate caregivers on their journey and promote self advocacy. I would like to educate caregivers and ask them to educate other caregivers. To this end, I designed a brochure on Stages of Caregiving and I need $901.26 for 1000 copies in color.
