Eastern Samar Typhoon Haiyan Relief Operation

On Friday, November 8, 2013, my homeland of the Philippines was struck by a very powerful storm, the most powerful typhoon this year, and among the most powerful typhoons in history. This storm, knows as Typhoon Yolanda, or Haiyan, has affected the entire Philippines, with the center of Tacloban City and Eastern Samar. One of the area that was affected was the town that I was born with the family among the victims.

Many families have lost loved ones, thier homes, their property, their belongings and their resources. Our group Philippine Dance Company of Rochester, has been helping and sending relief to Eastern Samar, Philippines to the victims of the typhoon, who are hungry and homeless.  If the desire to help is in your heart, please contact us or donate.
