MAKNA or National Cancer Council Malaysia is a not-for-profit social enterprise that works to reduce the pain, suffering and morbidity that cancer patients often experience. It aims to provide curative care, preventive care, cancer research and support services to cancer patients and their families, high-risk groups and the general public in Malaysia and abroad. It also operates a bursary program providing financial support to people with cancer. Today, MAKNA has established a strong track record in supporting and assisting cancer patients in various aspects, socially and economically.
