driving for justice

As most you know I quit my job six years ago and started working for God. I am currently a full time volunteer for Restore (www.restore.org.za) and also volunteering with a group of people in Manenberg during the week.

This role I have is not a paid job and most of my income is based on a network of supporters that support me financially.

About a year and a half ago, I was blessed with a beautiful car. This year unfortunately the car has been back and forth to mechanics. The engine needs a complete makeover and unfortunately financially it is not worth fixing anymore.

My car is very crucial for what I do. My work is mostly "mobile". My days include driving to prison, visiting the guys that have been released(helping with accommodation, rehabs, making of ID's etc), driving to Manenberg and doing hospital visits at night where I go regularly to pray for and minister to patients. Although I have managed in the past with public transport, my work has become more "mobile" and my "workplace" that is not always that safe, I am trusting for a good and reliable car.

I am very grateful for everyone's generosity and support. I would definitely not be doing this if I didn't have the support of friends and family who not only believe in me, but together are building God's Kingdom.
